One day, taking out the recycling bins at my University house, it dawned on me. Bins are everyday objects that we see and use but what if this bin was more than just its everyday purpose?
Just a Bin is a project I am currently working on. It is about a lonely bin that finds a companion in a lost dog, Rufus. The aim is to use comedy to entertain younger audiences, as well as educate them about the values of friendship and the impact of social isolation.
Displayed below is thumbnails and storyboard panels for the opening scene, as well as concept thumbnails and character expression sheets.
